About

This website gathers news and other information about the design and implementation of multiagent systems.

If you would like to add a short article (really just a link to another webpage along with a very short description) all you have to do is get an account at del.icio.us and then add a public bookmark with the tag for:jmvidal. I will then receive that link in my del.icio.us account and add it to this website, if suitable. Also, make sure you add a description and some other tags to your bookmark. Some common tags include conference, news, laboratory, introduction, class, and software. Note that del.icio.us limits the length of your notes to about 256 characters.

If you want to add a longer article, or want to get published quicker, then you need to create an account on this site and email me your username so I can give you blogging access. Once you have a blog then you can post all the blog entries you want. New blog entries are automatically shown on the front page.

If you are a newcomer to multiagent research, read my textbook.

For more on my own research see my lab's blog.

Coments on the new site?

So, do you like the new look? I went with drupal as my CMS. I am using del.icio.us bookmarks in an effort to become more social. I was thinking of directly pulling in the del.icio.us/rss/multiagent stream (instead of the /rss/jmvidal/multiagent stream) in order to make it faster for others to post. I might still do that. I am also hoping to add more blog articles, probably short opinion pieces on various new technologies and algorithms, the future applications of multiagent systems, where the field is headed, and other controversial topics. Anyone else who wants to write such blog postings is more than welcome. Please!
